The Chalmers Center for Economic Development

The Chalmers Center trains the church world-wide to minister to the poor. Its mission is to "help the church help the poor to help themselves." Training is offered for both a North American and international context and delivered through distance learning courses, self-study material, and training institutes hosted by local churches/ministries. Training for the U.S./Canada Ministry Track addresses economic development ministry strategies. Training for the International Ministry Track addresses holistic microenterprise development (MED) and microfinance (MF) services.
